LIMITED RETAIL WARRANTY
ACT warrants all products to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for normal use and service for a period of one (1) year from retail purchase. Written notice must be immediately given to ACT within the warranty period. We require a copy of the purchase receipt showing the unit was purchased from an Authorized Dealer to verify the product is under warranty. Products purchased used do not carry a warranty. This warranty is to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. All non-warranty items are subject to a $50 inspection bench test fee.
ACT reserves the right to examine any part returned for warranty claim to determine, to ACT’s satisfaction, whether the material or workmanship of the part does not conform to this limited warranty. ACT’s obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repairing, replacing, or crediting, at its option, any part which is deemed covered by ACT. No labor, lift or storage charges will be reimbursed for any reason. Damage to ACT’s parts resulting from misuse, improper use, or abuse shall void this limited warranty. Failure to follow ACT’s installation instructions and the vehicle manufacturer’s installation procedures and specifications shall void this limited warranty.
ACT undertakes no responsibility for the quality of the goods except as otherwise provided in this contract. ACT assumes no responsibility that the goods will be fit for any particular purpose for which you may be buying these goods, except as otherwise provided in the contract. ACT shall not be liable for any damage or injury to persons or property resulting from improper installation or misuse of any part subject to this warranty.
Merchandise Returns
Regarding new products purchased directly from ACT: No returns are accepted after ninety (90) days from the original shipping date from ACT. A Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must be obtained from ACT and accompany all parts returned. All RMA numbers are valid for fourteen (14) business days from the issue date. All new products returned must have the original packaging for credit. A handling or repackaging fee of 20% will apply to products that require extra handling or repackaging. You may not return discontinued items. Any parts returned under a warranty claim will be inspected, repaired, and returned promptly; an automatic credit for the item returned will not be issued. You are responsible for all freight charges when returning merchandise. Special order items cannot be returned or canceled.
We will not accept returned merchandise without a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns received without authorization will not be processed for refund or exchange. You may not return the product to ACT under any circumstances without ACT's specific written instructions and issuance of a return merchandise authorization number.
ACT DOES NOT ISSUE A REFUND ON ANY PRODUCTS THAT YOU DID NOT PURCHASE DIRECTLY FROM ACT. YOU MUST RETURN THE PRODUCT TO THE PLACE OF PURCHASE IF YOU WANT A REFUND. IF WE DO NOT TAKE YOUR MONEY, WE CAN NOT REFUND YOUR MONEY.
1. Create a Request for RMA by logging in to our RMA Portal. If you do not have an account yet, please click SIGNUP and provide accurate information such as name, shipping address, and a valid email address.
2. Upload an image, screenshot, or pdf of your purchase receipt. ACT will reject your request if you do not provide a purchase receipt.
3. Please provide a detailed description of the reason for returning the product. Please upload images of the defective product or video in the portal.
4. We will review your request within two business days, do not send your item until you have received an RMA Number. You will receive a notification email when your RMA Request is approved. You can also log in to our system anytime to check the status of your request.
5. Upon receiving an RMA Number, log in to the RMA Portal to print your RMA form and packaging slip. Ship your item.
6. You can monitor the status of your return (24/7) by logging into the RMA Portal.
7. Your return must be in suitable packaging to protect the product. ACT will not take responsibility for products damaged in shipping. Be sure to purchase insurance for your product's value when shipping.
8. ACT must receive all returned products within fourteen (14) business days. If we do not receive your product within 14 business days, we will void and cancel your RMA. You will need to resubmit for a new RMA Request.
9. If we are waiting for a response from you regarding your RMA and you do not respond within fourteen (14) business days, we will void and cancel your RMA. In addition, any parts you sent in will be scrapped and not returned to you.
